Woolfest 2018 falls in British Flower month so the event organisers at The Wool Clip are working with local charity, West House, on plans to gather the biggest bouquet ever of wool-crafted flowers.
Visitors are being asked to bring their creations to the Small Ring at Woolfest or to deliver them to The Wool Clip shop in Caldbeck. The team from West House will be at Woolfest to gather them all together and to meet visitors and they'll then be using the flowers in their cafes and fundraising activities over the summer.
Full details as well as several links to possible flower patterns are on the website now. The picture shows Emma Robinson, Fundraiser with West House at The Wool Clip with cooperative member, Sue Reed, aka The Woolly Pedlar.
